Fun in the Pool

Thanks to all the parents who helped out at swimming today. We picked the perfect afternoon to cool off!

Gumboot Competition

Well done to the children who entered the gumboot decorating competition. You all looked great!

Christmas House

We visited Grace's Christmas house at 51 Broadhaven Ave. There were so many things to look at. Thanks to Grace's Mum for inviting us. You can take your family along on Wednesday and Thursday night for a gold coin donation!

Room 5 Stepping Up Awards

Congratulations to Jack, Jacob, Lauren and Edmond who received our Stepping Up Awards at Assembly.

What's happening this week?

We have one last swimming time available. If you can help in the pool on Tuesday at 2pm that would be great. I am hoping to have one parent for every three children.
I will be sending home unused stationery this week. Feel free to relabel this and use it next year.
Your child will be visiting their new class on Wednesday afternoon and will meet their new teacher and classmates.

Kebab Party and Guest Storyteller

We made fruit kebabs on Friday to celebrate out letter of the week. Very yummy! Thanks to those who sent along fruit!

We also had a guest storyteller and we acted out the story "Too much noise". Thanks Ms Hill for arranging this.

We have new sports equipment to play with at morning tea and lunchtime thanks to the money the school raised in the Spellathon.

Scientist of the week

Jack showed us it was possible to tip a cup of water upside down without it spilling by using something called vacuum! You might like to try this one at home!Thanks Jack.
