Christmas Child

Thanks so much for your kind donations to our Christmas Child. We were able to send them some lego, twistable crayons, pens, a pencil case, stickers,a rubber and some soap.We talked about how giving is as much fun as receiving!

Operation Christmas Child

Try some maths at home

Letter and sound basketball

Here is a fun game to play over the weekend. Hasn't the first week of the holidays gone fast? Play letter basketball! Set up a trash basket on one side of the room and stand several feet away with your child. Write letters on paper, hold them upside down and let your child chose one. After they identify the letter, they can crumple it up and take a shot.

I hope you are all enjoying your break and making the most of this great weather. I spent most of today in my garden, very relaxing. For those of you wanting to practice your basic words over the holidays, try writing them on post it notes and put them on your bedroom ceiling and spot them with a torch before you go to bed. They are all in the back of your reading notebook.Have fun!
